Cal Grant Information

-It is the student(s)' responsibility to ensure that both their FAFSA and their Cal Grant GPA are submitted by the March 2 deadline to apply for a Cal Grant. The Cal Grant GPA may be submitted to the California Student Aid Commission by the school or the student. If students must submit their own GPA, they must do so using the paper Cal Gant GPA Verification Form. In addition, the GPA Verification form must be certified by an authorized high school official.

-Attend a California Cash for College workshop in January or February and you'll not only get help completing you FAFSA and other forms, but you can also enter a drawing for a $1,000 scholarship. One scholarship is offered at each workshop help across the state-up to 300 in all. Winners are announced after the workshop. Log on to www.calgrants.org to find the next available date near you.
